Blue Angels Air Show
July 11 - 12, 2008
The biggest event of Pensacola’s summer festivities includes the world-famous Blue Angels! The Blue Angels Air Show over Pensacola Beach, which is supported by civilian and military performers, will be held July 11 – 12. A second performance is scheduled for November 14 – 15. The Navy’s famous flight demonstration squadron will be joined by an exhilarating line up at this must-see event. With the new Famous Flyers game, the National Naval Aviation Museum educates its visitors about heroic and daring pilots, such as the first American in space, the first African-American to complete the Navy’s flight training program and the Naval aviator to command the first flights over the north and south poles. The object of the game is to match the famous aviators with the correct exhibits. Visitors who present their completed game at the Flight Deck Store will receive museum coupons and a registration card for a chance to win one of two grand prizes.
